The Anne Bradley Emerson Award Scholarship

The Anne Bradley Emerson Award Scholarship is open to graduating students from Hartford High School, Hartford Career and Technical Center, and the Mid-Vermont Christian High School, and it is awarded to a student anticipating further study in the fields of horticulture, botany, agriculture, forestry, conservation, landscape architecture, and environmentally allied studies.  Applications are sent to the schools in March.

2024 Recipient: Zachary Johnson

Zachary Johnson is a graduate of Hartford High. In addition to his scholastic achievements in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Athletic Leadership Council, Zachary is an active member of the Vermont 4-H Club where he has placed in shows and held titles of both Dairy and Poultry President. He has volunteered at blood drives, food banks, athletic camps, and 4-H events. 

Zachary plans to attend Ohio State University in the fall and major in Animal Science.
